This bottle was lying in a pub (cannot remember where) about 30 years ago when the reader and her husband were on holiday. The publican said it was there when he took over years ago.
The husband, then quite a romantic bought it for her as she loves cognac.

She kept it until now and is interested to know how old it is and is it worth much. Any offers. Been in drinks cabinet ever since. It comes in a wooden case with red cardboard.

This bottle is one of the earlier Otard bottles when they actually made XO cognac at about 25 years old.Infact it is a very good cognac but regrettably not very valuable. it is probaly wworth about £80.. It is though a lovely drink and it is suggested that the reader enjoys it.
hello i have the same but with 8 glasses the bottle is from the 80s and is worth 80 to 90 pounds in the box if u want two glasses just e mail me dont sell it drink it thats what its made for all the best graham
I also have a bottle in the original gift box with the red cardboard. I received it as a gift in the early 1980’s. I’ve always been tempted to open it and try it out but I’m really not a drinker and probably wouldn’t enjoy it to it’s fullest.
Any for sale
