The Sunday Times has always been associated with awarding the best of British restaurants, and now Remy Martin has also been brought into the equation. This makes sense, because after all, it would be just rude not to enjoy a superb glass of eaux-de-vie after a stupendous meal. And Remy are experts in what they do, making them a great addition to choosing the best eateries in the UK.

So what are the results of the 2011 Sunday Times Food list with Remy Martin as the sponsor? Well, the winner is The Ledbury Restaurant in Notting Hill, followed by Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Oxfordshire.
A spokesperson for Remy Martin said, “We are so honoured to be able to support the crème of the British restaurant scene. We pride ourselves on our commitment to authenticity, integrity and quality, and it is these characteristics which we have identified in our three award winners. Huge congratulations to them.”
The complete list is compiled of 100 restaurants and is decided by reviews sent in by food loving members of the public. The sponsors and organisers then study these, and put together the list. This year over 8,000 people sent in more than 80,000 restaurant reports from which the list was created.
