A reader in Arkansas submitted this amazing old Jérôme Napoleon Fine Champagne 1811 Cognac. This treasure, capped by the dust of history, is located in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

This is what our reader tells about his cognac “My wife and I received this bottle from her late uncle’s estate. Following his death, the family had an estate sale and this was an item that we chose to purchase. We considered opening it on New Years 2011 so we could say that we had tasted 200 year old Cognac. However, we’re now interested in finding out if it has any value. Although I cannot get a good photo of it, the level inside the bottle is right at the bottom of the neck, almost exactly at the top of the wax seal. Cannot tell anything about the cork as it is sealed in lead(?).”

(If you also have a Cognac bottle you would like to sell, or you need information about age or value – send us photos and information, just submit: Use this form – but please be aware: if you don’t follow the steps precisely, we will not publish your bottle.)
