The weekend of the 15th and 16th of October see three special tours at the house of Hennessy open to the public.

As part of a global LMVH weekend, the company has decided to throw an ‘open house’ event to show parts of their business that are rarely seen by anyone other than employees.  In the case of Hennessy, this means the following:

  • A tour of the Chais de la Faïencerie – the place where the most precious and valuable of all their eaux-de-vie is stored.
  • A tour of the Chateau de Bagnolet.
  • The discovery of the photographic genius of Marc Riboud.  His display of 60 photographs depicting Hennessy and its history.

Along with these three tours there will be various demonstrations.  These include the making of a cognac barrel, a presentation about the work of Marc Riboud and an introduction to the art of blending food and cognac by the head of Chateau de Bagnolet, David Fransoret.

It’s possible to enjoy only one or two of the tours, or to take a complete package to include all three.  Book your place on the website –  lesjourneesparticulieres.fr, or book directly at Hennessy during the weekend.
