We end the week with this Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac that a reader from Italy sent us.
He writes “Bottle has been in my mother’s house since I can remember…a present from my grandmother to my mother’s late husband. Today she gave it to me and I wish to know what is worth. Comes in a blue velvet case with a card that reads: Baccarat a spécialement édité ce flacon de crystal taillé à la main pour Le cognac Martell. Im willing to start the bidding for your bottle at $750.00 U.S. . I am in the United States and have researched the ability to ship a single bottle of collectable alcohol through Customs. I would pay for the shipping.
Thanks Edward for your offer, I’ll take into consideration, if no others bidders come out. Sorry for being late in answering, I’ll try to be more punctual in the future, I’ve been very busy. There seems to be some custom problem about shipping to US, as I’ve read in previous threads and it’s good if you can get around them.
Hello Marco. It seems there are a limited amount of senseable connisures of fine cognac out there. Have you thought about my offer? How can we work this transaction out? I hope we can, thank you.
