Here comes a new product from mustard house Maille: A Cognac moutarde (it’s french and means simply mustard). Whoever wanted a mustard with brandy, here it is. It comes in a 200ml pot – and Maille describes it as a mid-intense mustard. You would use it for preparing red meat for instance.
The ingredients of this Cognac mustard are: Water, mustard grains, white wine 16% and salt. Concentrated lemon juice, some acid stabilizers, xanthane and a conservating E224. And: 5% Cognac! We would say it must be VS cognac.
The price: around 5€.
