It was open house this weekend (21 & 22 May) at Chateau Huradin in Cerons this weekend.  Two generations of vintners join together for the event known as ‘L’Etape Vigneronne.’

The Chateau

The family Lafosse, the third generation of the Huradin family estate joins forces with Olivier and Stephane Wagrez Fargues of Chateau La Bouadi to welcome visitors in two days of discoveries and tastings of the best of both national and regional specialities.  These will include tastings of champagne Langlais and Prunier Cognac and Pineau.  Visitors will also be able to enjoy local products including goat’s cheese and Marennes oysters.

Along with the tastings and vineyard discovery, visitors will be able to see a collection of fine glass engravings on bottles, decanters and glasses, and works of art painted on glass as well.
