San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2010 – Louis Royer wins Gold in two categories

The big Cognac winner of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2010 is Louis Royer, receiving 2 gold awards in different categories. Interesting: also Conjure Cognac won a Bronze medal for VS quality.

Starting in the year of 2000, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is quite an important and influential spirits competition. The judging panels consist of experts from well known restaurants and hotels, spirits journalists from US media, buyers, and spirits consultants. Judging is based on a blind procedure, ensuring a certain competitive integrity, being a recognized competition in the spirits industry.

The 30 experts tasted over 1000 premium spirits for the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.  Spirits came from 58 different countries and six continents, here are some general awards.
