One of our readers found this old treasure. The Pascal Combeau et Cie Cognac bottle is from the time before the 2nd World War – it was hidden in a wine cellar, so the Germans couldn’t take it.
(If you also have a bottle you would like to submit, send us photos and information: Use this form)

The bottle has 3 labels, frist one reads: XO – and second one reads Maison fondée en 1838 Pascal Combeau et Cie
COGNAC.

And on the third label it reads:
Ce Cognac est le produit des vins récoltés et distillés seulement dans la région délimitée de Cognac conformément à la loi Française. Mise en bouteille à Cognac de nos stocks en réserve.
If you have an idea about value, age or if you are interested in buying this one, please feel free to comment. Who knows, perhaps the owner is ready to sell this vintage bottle.

I have 4 bottles from range from 1908 to 1916 I found behind a tree in the woods by my house in 1978. I brought them home and my dad drank them. I still have the bottles are they worth anything?
Thanks,
Fred Becker
