Courvoisier workers are not happy because of an unacceptable pay increase offer from management.

They have asked for a 160 euro increase in salary for all workers and have rejected an offer of a 2.3 per cent rise.  They will picket at the headquarters of Courvoisier in Jarnac, and hope to meet with General Manager, Patrick Pinet.

Valerie Small, a union delegate, has said that with the company breaking all profit records they want to ensure that they limit the widening gap between those on the highest wage and those on the lowest.
