And another Louis XIII by Rémy Martin! One of our users has this bottle at home in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, USA.

This bottle belonged to my grandfather who owned and operated a 5* restaurant in Agawam, Massachusetts for over 60 years. The name of this restaurant was the Federal Hill Club. They had an exquisite wine cellar full of the highest priced wines on the east coast. This cognac was left to me some years ago. It’s still in its original red box and outer white box with information paper and foam pad. There is damage to two of the pulled glass side pieces, do not want to mislead anyone.Thank you for taking a look.”

It should have either and octagonal red case or an oval clamshell case?
The octagonal case is from the early 1970s and the oval is from the 1960s
I can offer you $1,900 if in the octagonal case and $2,100 if in the oval case. Contact me if interested.

Oooops. Failed to see your note about broken glass tabs on the bottle. My offer is no good. Still interested but I have rethink my bid. I would buy the box and case and all the paperwork + the stopper for a very good price. You could drink the cognac and still make decent money…

Because of the broken fins the set has lost about 1/2 of its value. It cannot be sold to a collector.
The boxes/papers/stopper are still worth about $400 because there are many bottles of Louis XIII of that age available without boxes (Some people apparently throw away the boxes??). I have several of them.
The bottle is still worth about $600 to a person who wants to drink it.
I can offer you $1,000 for the set or $400 for the boxes, paperwork and stopper if you want to keep the bottle.
Let me know if my offer is of interest.
