Great, a queens and politicians favorite! One of our readers has a “Remy Martin Louis XIII” of the mid Baccarat era at home in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. He writes: This bottle was bought over 30 years ago from a collector in Hudson County, New Jersey. It is a constant source of conversation and a beautiful piece to view. Feels like a piece of history and a work of art.
This Cognac Grande Champagne was served at the Royal Banquet given to their Majesties King George VI. and Queen Elizabeth at the Chateau de Versailles in July 1938 and was again chosen to be served to Queen Elizabeth II. during her Majesty’s visit to France in April 1957. Additionally Winston Churchill celebrated his election victory with this cognac in 1951.

Yes, It came in a red oval box with gold ribbon and emblem, and It does have a seemingly flawless stopper.

It also has a large original document which is folded and kept in the gift box stating some of the facts and stories of this bottle and contents.

Would love to post more pictures, but need to know where to send them

    Thank you>.

I understand that Sebastian wants all communication open so the bidding stays competitive and information exchange is available to all. I am OK with it. I think he will put you in touch with me as soon as he feels a deal has been concluded.
Your cognac was bottled in the 1960s. The next version was sold in an octagonal red box or a clear plastic box in the 1970s. The 1950s version was in a square felt box (Either red or green)

Send me your link to paypal or instructions.

Mike, If I could clear $2000, it is yours. I live in North eastern PA and will be down the Jersey Shore area this Sunday and Monday, if that helps. Thanks

Excellent. I will pay you $2,000 + whatever your expenses are. Where can we meet? I live near Baltimore and can come up the 95 to Delaware. Do you come through DE on your way to the shore?
