Cognac Expert just loves bringing you news of new products, so we were delighted to receive an invite to the launch of the latest offering from Prince Hubert de Polignac.

The new XO from the house of Prince Hubert de Polignac was officially launched at a lunch tasting on September 17th, where president, Christophe Juarez showcased the new cognac.  The food on offer was created by chefs, Laurent André et Roberto Rispoli, and, to add to the occasion, the luxury new Prince Hubert de Polignac 888 Trunk that we reported about back at the beginning of August was also on display.

But the cognac of the moment was certainly the Prince Hubert de Polignac Extra XO, a uniquely Grande Champagne blend of some of the house’s older eaux-de-vies.  It’s a mellow and subtly rounded cognac, and the bottle it’s presented in mirrors this taste.  Soft, gentle lines and finished atop in golden sheen, the combination of soft curves and the amber colour of the cognac are definitely pleasing on the eye.

The purchase price of Prince Hubert de Polignac Extra XO Cognac is around €350 euros for a bottle.
