The House of Martell, the oldest of the great cognac houses, presents a new jewel: Martell Grande Champagne 1965. The exclusive decanter is a specially designed and bottled vintage that pays tribute to Singapore’s 50 years of independence. It comes in an edition of three only, truly symbolizing this rare moment in the country’s history and the strong ties it has with the world of Cognac, and Martell Cognac in particular.

Martell Grande Champagne 1965 for Singapore's Independence

For the historic occasion in Singapore’s history dating back to 1965, Cognac Martell has drawn upon its valuable stock from its 1965 Grande Champagne vintage. The Cognac is presented in a beautiful crystal decanter and comes in a gift box marking the 50 Year Independence of Singapore.

On the nose, Martell Grande Champagne 1965 has light fruity aromas, leading to more round notes of fine spices like cinnamon and nutmeg and accompanied by candied oranges and dried fruit. The palate is strong and expressive from the long aging, boasting a beautiful balance. Tastes of dried fruits are followed by a medley of berries, leading to a very long finish, characteristic of Grande Champagne Cognac.
