New year is coming with seven-league boots and a rather beautiful Cordon Bleu Martell cognac bottle that is located in Texas, USA.
This is what the reader tells us about the bottle: “A couple of years ago, I stopped at an old liquor store in Dallas, Texas. In an area that used to be populated with lots of high-end resturaunts. I walked over to a display case that was very dusty and inquired about the bottle inside. I asked how long it had been there, he said it was there when he came to work at the store 26 years ago. I knew it had to be old and thought the bottle was beautiful and so I took it home.”
(If you also have a Cognac bottle you would like to sell, or you need information about age or value – send us photos and information, just submit: Use this form – but please be aware: if you don’t follow the steps precisely, we will not publish your bottle.)

Hi,
Bottle Release 80s and currently stands (complete set) approximately $1000-1100///
Best Regards,
Andrey.
The Cordon Bleu in Baccarat decanter was released by Martell in 1958 or 1959. They changed the packaging over the years with various shape boxes and cord wraps in different colors. For the first two years the bottles had no cords wrapped around the throat of the bottle.
Your bottle has the most recent label (Late 1970s?) and I think I can see a red box in the background? Could you send Sebastian pictures of the box (and the card if you have it). This would be useful for giving you a bid and Sebastian will add them to your post so everyone can see them.
I will make an offer on this cognac if you provide photo of the box.
Michael-
I will send pictures in just a few minutes. There is some damage to the hinge of the box.
I just updated the post with additional pictures.
Thank you for the pictures. I’ll offer $900 for it.
Thank you, that will be fine. Please let me know how we need to proceed in order to make the transaction.
