Another luxury cognac hits the market – the Remy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl Anniversary Edition. This Grande Champagne cognac is a celebration of the 140th anniversary, and is a limited edition of only 775 decanters.
This is the third edition created in the last century from the Heriad Dubreuil family’s private reserves. A blend of 1,200 eaux-de-vies aged between 40 – 100 years, this one has been drawn from the C-100-93 tiercon, barrels that are over a century old.

The cognac is presented in a delightful decanter that’s been specially designed for this edition. It will be available to purchase from exclusive Louis XIII outlets around the world, as well as in some of the major airports in the Middle East and Europe.
If you’re lucky enough to visit the TFWA in Cannes, France (27-31 October, 2014), you’ll be able to discover more as it’s being exhibited on the Remy Cointreau stand.
The cost for a decanter of Remy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl Anniversary Edition is 10,000 Euros ($13,000 US dollars). That’s a normal price for a Louis XIII Black Pearl.
