A reader has a cognac bottle at home: J.A.s Hennessy & Co. Cognac 80 proof, and it comes in a beautiful box.
The bottle is located in Sacramento California. The Reader writes “When I got engaged my parents would give each of is a bottle to celebrate. We opened a gold dipped Cognac bottle and still have it but there is no content left. I got engaged in 1993. When my parents moved they divided up the remaining bottles between us siblings.”

The Cap is gold and has a black horizontal area to break when opened.
Label on neck of bottle is a wide V shape with gold outlining and the words JA’s Hennesy in cursive and another short word that I cant read.
Label below the neck of the bottle –
Its oval and the label is black with a gold oval outline and the words EXTRA

On the bottom in the glass is Hennessy Depose
and CO AB
The box is a medium brown color with a little city of houses in the middle and there is a sun in the upper right corner and grape vines all over. Also there is a distillery on the front and older pot. On the sides there are Cognac glass filled a quarter way and a barrel with vines around it. There is also a sticker on the front from Beltramo\’s Menlo Park. (I assume this is where it was purchased.)
The inner of the box has Cree Pour JAs Hennessy & Co written in it and an image of an old knight holding a big ax and come vines in a curved pattern.
The bottle lays in a cream colored cloth that fits the bottles shape.
