At first glance, the house of Martell Cognac might not seem to have a link to jazz musician, Jamie Cullum, and top chef, Raymond Blanc.  But the three have joined forces to offer a series of unique food, drink and music spectaculars across France and the UK.

Food & Music: Martell’s answer to Hennessy’s Artistry?

Entitled the ‘Martell Very Special Nights’ campaign, those lucky enough to attend will be able to sample food from some of France’s finest chefs, enjoy after dinner entertainment from Jamie and other internationally renowned musicians and, naturally, the chance to sample some of Martell’s Cognacs.

Marketing Controller for Pernod Ricard UK, Vicky Wood, says that, “Martell’s Very Special Nights provides us with an engaging platform that really taps into the passions of our target audience.”

As well as this, the campaign will also be sponsoring Late Lounge – courtesy of radio station, Jazz FM.  This will give consumers the chance to win tickets to the Very Special Nights events with the radio and newspaper, The Daily Telegraph.  There will also be the opportunity to win tickets via Brasserie Blanc restaurants throughout the UK.

The first event is to be held in the UK, at Raymond Blanc’s, Brasserie Blanc, at St Paul’s in London on December 15th 2012.
