I’m told cognac doesn’t continue to age once it’s bottled. If that’s the case then the product inside is not worth much.

1909 date on label is a reference to date of French decree about cognac designations, not age of cognac or year of bottling.
Bottle worth approx. $200.
Cognac does not “age” once it is bottled so it is pretty average cognac in this bottle and value will not go up significantly.
