One of our users has sent us pictures of Hennessy glassware. As she’s asking for some further informations it’s kind of a riddle. So if anybody can give any further information we’d be very grateful.

Including some china and crystal the glassware was purchased at an estate sale. Included in the batch was a gift set of 4 small Hennessy Snifter glasses, a booklet, “The Gift of Taste” and a slip that could be completed to obtain another set for $1 and .15 cents U.S. for customs handling charge.
Unfortunately neither she nor us could find out the date of the publication, but it is remarkable that the picture of the Hennessy factory on the web site is different from the one in the booklet. Schieffelin & Co, 30 Cooper Square, New York 3, NY were the distributors of this gift set.

And just to reiterate: Any information that can be given would be appreciated.

Hi,
I have three of these sniffers. (Broke one when purchased.) These crystal glasses fluoresce light green when exposed to a black light. I would guess the crystal sniffers are American made, 1910 – 1920. This would be around the time of their centennial.
I would love to find the value of these glasses. I’m hitting tough times. They do glow green under a black light and I have 14 glasses.
