Here comes a Hennessy Bras Armé Fine Cognac. It is located in Philadelphia, USA.
The Reader writes “I received this bottle from a friend who was moving across the country and could not take this bottle with him. He knows I know good cognac. I suggested I would use the funds from the sale of the bottle to visit him in his new home in California. This bottle was in his Dad’s house stored in the basement ever since his Dad purchased the bottle. From my research this looks like it’s from late 1960’s-1970’s.”

Named after the Bras Arme (Brahz-Ahr- MAY)- the arm and ax which is the Hennessy family crest-this Cognac represents a tradition which goes back over 200 years. In 1740, Captain Richard Hennessy, an Irishman in the service to the King of France, settled in Cognac where he founded the firm which bears his name, still owned and directed by his descendants, now in the seventh generation from father to son. Today, Captain Hennessy’s firm is in the priviledged position of maintaining the largest reserves of aged Cognacs in the world. These reserves, plus the Hennessy tradition of dedication to quality, are your assurance of the finest Cognac brandies available.
