Just hours to go till weekend and again something really special. One of our readers in Norway has a bottle of the exclusive Hardy Perfection Eau Cognac. It is part of the “Essential Elements” series that was – according to Hardy – the “worlds oldest known unblended cognac” with eaux-de-vie that are dating back to the 1870′s, the Pre-phylloxera days. Additionally it was a limited edition of just 300. This is Bottle Nr. 101.

And here comes what the reader tells us about his bottle “My former neighbor and friend Andre established the best and most famous Cognac bar in Norway 1996-1997 “BAR 1″ He ordered through good contacts 4 bottles of Hardy Perfection Eau Series for its cognac bar, and I was offered bottle # 101. Two of the remaining three bottles were sold to guests at the bar in 2cl / 4 cl glass and emptied within two years. The fourth bottle Ranked # 001/300 was not sold to guests at the bar, and I do not know who bought it, or where the bottle went. I’ve had it since then, and thought it was time and sell it to someone who knows more about cognac than me, and maybe will have it in their collection.”

(If you also have a Cognac bottle you would like to sell, or you need information about age or value – send us photos and information, just submit: Use this form – but please be aware: if you don’t follow the steps precisely, we will not publish your bottle.)
