24 FL OZS PRODUCE OF FRANCE 70° PROOF (The Golf Leaf is on the bottle top)
There is a coat of arms with the words BY APPOINTMENT TO THE LATE KING GEORGE V
It is sealed and in mint condition, as is the original box it comes with.

This item came from an old gentlemans recent house clearance in Harrogate, West Yorkshire, England.
It has been dry stored ever since point of purchase in the 1930s hence the immaculate condition.

When held to the light I can see that the liquid within is a nice rich colour and very clean with no floaters or anomalies whatsoever I cant find a similar bottle on line so I assume it is rather rare.

If you have any information, or if you are interested in purchasing – please go for it.

    Mr Damian Brown

    Hello there,

I have a sealed bottle of Denis-Mounie, Petite Champagne 1906 (lead stamp on the neck of the bottle). The liquid inside is clear and looks like a malt whiskey in colour.

I have some history of the bottle; my Great Uncle who was a Chaplin in the British Army during WW2, on his return from active duties he stopped in France, he came across this bottle in a Chapel cellar, he had the bottle ever since.

I can of course provide a photo or two.

Does anyone know anymore about this bottle and estimate its value.

    many thanks

    Hi Damian,
I don’t know if you still have the bottle of 1906, but if you do and are interested in perhaps selling it I might be interested. If you could send some photos to my e-mail address so I could take a look at it I would appreciate it.
