Two miniature bottles have been released in travel retail by Martell and Prince Polignac designed to be given as luxury gifts.

L’Or de Jean Martell
The first is L’Or de Jean Martell. This 200ml carafe is presented in a beautiful Cristal de Sevres decanter, etched in gold and encased in a gift box designed by French designer, Eric Gizard. Each is individually decorated by Master Glassworkers and has a unique fastening system that ensures the carafe and stopper are perfectly sealed.

The cost of the L’Or de Jean Martell 200ml gift pack is $1070 US dollars. It will be available from duty free shops at various airports in Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
Prince Hubert de Polignac XO Royal
The second miniature to be released (again in duty free shops) is the Prince Hubert de Polignac XO Royal Cognac. Produced in a 350ml bottle that measures 20cm in height, it’s presented in a smart box that makes it the ideal gift. Read more about the Prince Hubert de Poignac XO Royal Cognac here.
This will retail at a price of 59 Euros.

It’ll be interesting to see if other cognac houses follow suit and produce similar, smaller versions of various cognacs to target the gifting market.
