Finding inspiration post-dinner
This end-of-year brings something spectacularly exciting: our first selected Cognac! As our regular readers and customers know all too well, we, Sophie and Max, are obsessed. We live, breathe, and dream Cognac, and are lucky enough to be able to do this from our wonderful estate in the heart of the region.

We’ve met so many wonderful and inspiring people over the years, and have become deeply connected to this beautiful spirit through growing up in the region and founding Cognac Expert. It was always our vision to support small Cognac producers and help protect their craft. Like in any field of work, big players are taking over, putting artisanal houses at risk of loosing their brands, which are often family-run.

We’re not letting on too much about the Cognac itself right now, except to say that we’ve collaborated with a wonderful small producer close to us, and selected what we, and our team agreed was an outstanding taste experience. Jacques is an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled Cognac producer. With his tiny vineyard he managed to produce the highest quality Cognac.

The bottle will be stylish yet elegant, speaking to those Cognac lovers that have a sense for beautiful things and a taste for exquisite quality. Our vision was to create a bottle that spells understatement in the most decorative way.

This has been a long time in the planning, and the Cognac Expert team spent many a long hour scratching their heads during the many planning sessions that will culminate in this exclusive launch. And, naturally, we had to taste a great many Cognacs to ensure we got it right.
It was a tough challenge, we have to say. But the team rose to it admirably.
Training our palate to really understand the Cognac we selected was really important to us. We want to share only the very best quality.

Our Cognac will be sold in a very limited number, as every bottle will be hand-filled, labelled, and packaged. Rest assured, this will be a truly limited edition. We’re not fans of calling a product ‘limited’, and then producing thousands. Be sure to watch out for the launch of this unique limited edition. It really will be a case of ‘when it’s gone, it’s gone’, with this one.
