Cognac Braastad has today unveiled what is sure to be one of the most expensive bottles of cognac in the world.

This unique bottle features a 20 carat solid gold dragon weighing 920 grams that encircles a handmade crystal bottle.  And if that wasn’t enough, the dragon is encrusted with 2765 dazzling diamonds.

The creation is a collaboration between the House of Braastad Cognac, Japanese business woman, Masako Suzuki and Israeli diamond designer, Eli Savranski, from Antwerp.  Today sees the culmination of Ms Masako’s dream of over two decades.  She has worked with Cognac Braastad for many years, specializing in the trade of wines and spirits to Japan.

The cognac bottle is one of a kind.  It arrived protected by a convoy of security yesterday, ready to be filled with its precious contents.  The convoy will now accompany the bottle through different countries, before being sold at what is sure to be an enormous price tag.

The cognac is said to be over 100 years old.
