One of our readers sends us a photo and description of his bottle. It’s a three star J&F Martell bottle. To be precise: Martell Very Old Pale Cognac 70 Proof.
(If you also have a bottle you would like to submit, please use our form)

The bottle is really old looking, very odd bottle cap. on front of bottle it says “contents are guranteed pure grape brandy distilled in pot stills from wine produced exclusively in the cognac district of France. produce of France 70 Proof” on back it says “this slip should be unbroken”.

Do you think that it will still be ok to drink?
thanks!
As always: Thanks for your comments. And what we can already say, yes, this cognac most certainly can be consumed.
