- Your Cognac Bottle? December 23, 2010 in Your Cognac Bottle? 1
One of our readers is very keen on identifying this Raynal bottle, he sent us (good) pictures so we submitted it.
(If you also have a bottle you would like to submit, send us photos and information: Use this form)
Found it in the liquor cabinet. Don’t remember how I got it. Its been their for years. Didn’t have a label.
I just saw a youtube thing on drinking Cognac and remembered this bottle. That got my interest up. Here is the description:
No Label
Cap: Raynal & Cie Produce of France
Bottom;
Outer ring; 80 (Unsure)
France
75mm
75 I (unsure)
C – Inner ring: LIQUOR BOTTLE FRANCE

Let’s face it: It’s a rather recent bottle, and a VSOP. Probably not the highest value – but let’s see.
By the way: We found a lable of Raynal, see below. The brand Raynal (with the three barrels) is the former Pellisson Cognac brand – but: this brandy seems to be a “french brandy” and not a cognac.
Perhaps someone has an idea about this bottle. Please do not hesitate to comment.
