Cognac’s population 92,000? Nahh, it’s nearer 20,000 surely?

If Cognac needs people, make me an offer! I’m thinking maybe some subsidized housing and a ration of Cognac from each distiller on a quarterly basis. I could become a cognac guide for English speaking visitors. I could become a Cognac ambassador back to the US. I could set up an outreach office. I could be a collector’s liaison, hunting down prize bottles. I could set up a sampler system so people could afford to try good ones. I could write for the industry. All of these things sound very reasonable and exciting, don’t you think, Cognac industry? There it is. Just hire me and set me up in Cognac. This is all going to work out very well.
