Store in Segonzac: The Best Things Come in Little Packages

The Maison de la Grande Champagne deep in the heart of Segonzac, is repeating its successful local flavour tasters of last year.  Until the end of January, 2011, it is possible to buy many small bottles of Cognac XO, Pineau and red and white wine, in 20 cl bottles.  Beautifully packaged in a basket containing 2, 3, or 4 bottles, each bottle comes fully labelled with the producer and would make an excellent present – or for just a bit of fun!

The Maison de la Grande Champagne was set up 18 years ago, and is coming up to its 10^th birthday in its current location.  They offer a selection of goods from 30 local producers and also explain the distillation process and other trade secrets.  Along with Cognac, Pineau and wine, they also offer local honey and chocolates, all beautifully packaged in brightly coloured gift boxes.

The Maison de la Grande Champagne is open daily Monday to Saturday, and also open Sunday mornings.
