Shoe maker + Hennessy = Limited Edition XO Mathusalem

Hennessy makes some noise again: A partnership with a shoemaker. Yes, a shoemaker! Berluti and the biggest Cognac house in the world partner on a limited edition XO Mathusalem bottle!

Berluti also belongs to LVMH. Actually the Mathusalem XO bottle comes in a hand-blown crystal decanter, designed by the Marquis de Geoffre in 1947.

Berluti XO Special Edition Mathusalem with leather case

Each bottle is unique and has a serial number engraved upon it.

What does Berluti bring to the party?

The shoe maker contributes with a nice hand-made leather trunk, designed by Olga Berluti. It takes more than 60 hours to build a chest, and each object has a certificate of ownership. And inside you find Hennessy XO Cognac… what a nice surprise.

The product was unveiled in China:

“Something that will remain beyond the sharing of cognac, the chest and cognac become something very personal. Once you finish the bottle, you can keep the memory of it”

The special edition item is at 23 000 dollars and there are only 150 available.

There are actually a number of custom design features within the chest. Wood interior construction, leather-laden wrist watch collector storage, jewelry storage trays, hand crafted siphon with leather handle and drawing lever, as well as design letters corresponding to the chest construction encased in a hand made leather folio.
