Rémy Martin launches, again, a 2011 Cannes Film Festival exclusive limited edition. There will be only around 700 bottles of this Rémy Martin VSOP Cannes Limited Edition Cognac. The black cognac bottle will only be available at duty free and travel retail shops.
Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail just announced this new travel retail edition. The partnership with the Cannes Film Festival has been going on for seven years now. Quite a smart idea, as the Cannes festival is considered as one of the most glamorous events in the world.

Last year the bottle was red, this year it’s black. The 1.5 and 1 litre magnum VSOP bottle (by the way: it’s the same eaux-de-vie as the standard VSOP of Rémy Martin) was designed for the 64th festival. We see the Cannes logo at the bottle neck, “Fournisseur Officiel”, the colour is black and gold. Cool detail: Film strips in the background.
Every of the 700 bottles is individually numbered, and will be available in March and May 2011.
Only 700 individually-numbered bottles will be available at selected duty-free and travel-retail outlets around the world between March and May. Kick-off event of the bottle will be on March 21st in Orlando.
And of course do not miss the film festical in Cannes which starts on May 11th.
