Hi, just wandering why the bottles are this dirty when they are kept in a wooden box. I do not wish to spoil the fun but these bottles do appear similair to the bottles which popped up in the 1930′s as genuine antique cognac 1811 and which often where treated with glue and sand to appear ancient. I might be wrong but I do have my doubts. The fact that the bottles are lied down in the cask rather then put upside does not help much either. This is not the way to store cognac or any other liquor.

These bottles have been with my family for over 100 years. If you are interested in purchasing, we are absolutely open to receive a Cognac specialist to check authenticity.

Hi Rafael & Stefana, we hope you find together. With the YOUR BOTTLE section we give users the opportunity to exchange and to connect – still, we would be very happy if you could give feedback by writing in the comments etc. and tell us a bit about what happens – e.g. the taste or even the price range (because it might be interesting to other users).

thank you!
