With its global trade in cognac rising a healthy 11 per cent last year, Martell is now setting its sights on the boosting the Australian market.
Last week saw Thierry Giraud, Martell’s Brand Development manager, and Laurent Zammit, Regional Director for South Asia, in Australia to showcase the supreme premium range of Martell eaux-de-vie.
With Australia now heading towards spring, Martell is keen to bring the delights of their wares to more consumers, and have been supplying the trade with tastings of some of their most popular brands.
These include Martell VSOP, Cordon Bleu, XO and Grande Extra that will retail at AU$87.99, $202, $223 and over $500 per bottle respectively.
It’s hoped that the strong cultural ties between Australia and the other growing Asian markets such as China and South East Asia will see their cognacs become increasingly popular amongst Australian drinkers.
