Now what a nice surprise. Coming back home in the evening and finding a Rémy Martin Louis XIII bottle in the post (well.. not exactly in the mailbox, but almost).
Unpacking Louis XIII
Wow. Never had a Louis XIII in my life. Actually it’s a high-end cognac from the house of Rémy Martin. Over 1000 eaux-de-vie blended in there. For those of you who want to know more about this cognac, see our article about it here.
Already the simple box looks nice. The name of the 13th Louis of France just enhances everything.
Can’t wait to look a bit deeper… ah, there is a red box. And in the red box there is a beautiful, royal packaging element. Fine surface structure.
The red packaging box has a golden sign on top, the Fleur-de-Lys over the name of the French king.
So this is it. Louis XIII. Nice to meet you, sir. I would love to open it right now, but I want to wait for Valentin, our reviewer-in-chief.
It’s actually pretty small, this bottle. But hey, it’s precious cognac from the paradise cellars of Rémy.
Already the unpacking was quite an adventure.
We will do tasting notes on this fine eaux-de-vie, and publish the review very soon in the about-to-be-rebooted review section.

Wewow, where did u get tgis small bottle? I want to get one too, cheers
