- Your Cognac Bottle? November 5, 2010 in Your Cognac Bottle? 3
Another beauty: One of our dear readers sent us photos of his great bottle L. de Salignac Cie Cognac. This Cognac comes in a Baccarat Crystal hand made bottle.
(If you also have a bottle you would like to submit, please use our form)
The cork and the seal are in perfect conditions. Box white silk interior, red velvet exterior. It sas been in the family since 1960 and when the gift was received the product said old cognac 50 years.
Since 1960 up to now the bottle has been under good temperature conditions.
Salignac is a brand of the house of Courvoisier.
If anyone can give a direction of price of value, or some futher background information it would be much appreciated.

It may be a trick of the light or just the way the photos of the bottle were taken but the colour looks extremely dark – the sign of being too long in the wood or the use of too much new wood for too long?
