Here is another Cognac you drink with ice, as the name says. But it’s not transparent or “white” – it actually is a “brown” cognac. ABK 6 Ice from young & innovative cognac house ABK6. Cognacs are basically coloured and “brown” because they age in oak barrels. Some cognacs or eaux-de-vie are transparent and without colour.

ABK6 is about to launch new ICE COGNAC, probably at vinexpo 2011 in some days. We’ll be there and report about it.
So this cognac is positioned as a cognac that has to be consumed on the rocks, with ice. That makes sense, as Rémy V, De Luze “A” or Godet‘s Antarctica serve the same trend – there is a good amount of people that like to drink cognac on ice.
The price of the new Ice Cognac botte is at € 37.
That’s about it, all we know. Stay tuned.
