- Your Cognac Bottle? January 24, 2011 in Your Cognac Bottle? 2
One of our readers sent us her big J & F Martell Bottle. The bottle next to the Martell is a normal 0,7 l bottle… so you see the difference.
(If you also have bottle pictures you would like to submit, send us photos and information: Use this form – but please be aware: if you don’t follow the steps precisely, we will not publish your bottle.)
Our reader would like to know more about the value of this bottle.
This “huge” display bottle I understand to be around 40 years old and possibly containing about a gallon of brandy!
This Martell Grande Fine Cognac is a Quatre Crus Cognac: Petite et Grande Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. “A Marriage of different characteristics of the four great wine districts of the Charente – Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne produce vigour and strength, the Fins Bois add fullness whilst the Borderies complete the harmony with finesse and charm.”
As always: If you have questions, comments or ideas – please comment.
