Claridges bar, in London’s Mayfair district, has an exclusive new cognac cocktail on offer until the end of the year.
The ‘Fleur de Lis’ contains Remy Martin XO Excellence, and is flavoured with dissolved sugar and a twist of citrus rind. Served in a chilled martini glass, the cocktail is given an expensive finish by being misted with a spray of 100 year old Louis XIII.
An atomiser has been specifically designed to mist this precious eaux-de-vie over the cocktail – allegedly giving it a ‘superior touch and alluring aroma.’
The cocktail will set you back £30, but if you prefer your cognac unadulterated, you can always purchase a glass of Louis XIII for £250 instead.
