Police in Russia have discovered an illegal underground factory creating fake alcoholic goods. Produced from tap water and illegal supplies of ethanol, the Armenian man had a team of 17 people from Uzbekistan working on creating the fake bottles.

These were then labelled up and sold on the black market as cognac, whiskey, Armenian brandy and fake wine.
Fake alcohol, and cognac in particular, is a big problem in Russia. It’s believed that as much as half of all cognac sold in the country is fake.
The factory has of course been closed down and production ceased.
