Here is a very old bottle a reader found in his mother’s cellar: Fauchon Grande Champagne, distilled in 1875, bottled in 1939. It belonged to the grand father’s collection who worked in the Cognac business all his life long.

This is a bottle of Cognac which was made for Fauchon. It is dated 1875, bottled on march 27 th 1939 (written on the back label, see below). It is marked N° 39 / 40;
The level of the bottle is at the “epaule” and the cork as you can see on the photo.
The reader is looking for an expertise or serious buyer. Please comment below – we are quite sure this bottle will be sold quicky.

This cognac does have in interesting history and we are in a position to provide a valuation on the cognac. There are a number of minor concerns regarding its condition and labelling.
