Cognac Birius presents a Music Evening in the Cellar

Two days ago 60 people attended the event “Apéritif musical au Coeur des Chais – Domaine de Birius”, a musical evening and tasting in the heart of the cellars Domaine de Birius.

They were able to enjoy the great acoustic of the cellars of Domaine Birius with Elodie and Solenne Bouyer performing classical works, flute and oboe.

The event was also a tasting of Birius Cognacs: Cognac VS with Sparkling Grape, Pineau des Charentes red & white that both won silver medals at the Concours Général de Paris 2011), Cognac VSOP (12 to 20 years old, won gold medal at Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2011) and Birius’ age flagship Cognac XO (25 to 35 years old).

Between each piece of music Philippe and Anne Bouyer spoke passionately about the Cognac.

As a special guest, Françoise Barbin-Lecrevisse has presented her cookbooks “Cognac and modern cuisine” (avril 2011) and “Cuisine & Pineau - so chic and simple”.
