Probably the hottest cognac auction in the world. La Part des Anges is a cognac auction in the town of Cognac. Actually ‘La Part des Anges’ means “angel’s share” and normally the term is  used for losing quantity (2% per year, vapors) while stocking Cognac in oak barrels, see the article here.

The “La part des Anges” is a BNIC event. 24 cognac houses present very special and rare bottles for a charity auction. The Rémy Martin bottle for example could bring 10 000 € this year.

The event takes place on September 26th 2010.
