As sources tell us, there will be a new Braastad Organic Cognac – to be release on October 1st in Finland, available at Alko. So it seems like that the new product will be a VSOP Organic Cognac, from the house of Braastad.
While Braastad already launched an Organic Cognac end of 2010 in Norway, where the market for organic wine and products has been growing in the last years, now the Braastad’s Organic Cognac comes to Finland. The Organic and natural cognac trend is going on, like with everything else in the consumer products world.
But the information on this is not yet entirely clear, it seems like that Richard Braastad and local growers cooperate on a cognac that originates from different crus: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois and Bons Bois.
Braastad Organic Cognac apparently is beyond the grade quality system VS, VSOP and XO, and a blend of different average ages, from different areas.
Cognac-Expert.com asked Braastad for more information, so stay tuned.
