A Gin made in the Cognac region: G’Vine Nouaison

The first thing I thought when I saw this bottle was: Is it VINE G or ViGne? Anyway, here comes a Gin for this summer – and it is from Charente, France! Cognac, Pineau and Vodka (Grey Goose) comes from Charente and now Gin is being made here. What’s next, German Korn or Japanese Rice Sake?

G’Vine Nouaison is an aromatic gin, infused with typical Cognac grape Ugni Blanc. It’s the main grape used for wine production which gets used for distilling eaux-de-vie.

The product is made in France’s Cognac region and was recently launched in the US.

The notes of Nouaison are supposed to represent the Ugni Blanc grape aroma. With 43.9% ABV G’Vine Nouaison is a product for rather fruity cocktails. The grape base and infusion of the vine flower give the Gin a unique taste you will notice.

The price of G’Vine Nouaison: $34 for 0,75 L

Fantastic Gin ! And G’Vine Floraison is also great !… I strongly recommend with a zest of lemon for a superb G&T.
