Fantastic competition. 1000 contenders and all winning a Bronze medal or better. Strangely enough, in the class of Cognac, extra old, it was 4 contenders only last year. Why? There are lots of SERIOUS cognacs in this segment. However, most fantastic was the DOUBLE Gold winner in the Spanish brandy competition. Cardinal Mendoza- the brandy the state owned spanish airline serve on economy class. And yes, it tastes bad. Will we see a trippel Gold Medal next year?
