100 years later: Big suprise! Booze stash found in an old wall

He just wanted to add an air conditionor in the attic. While opening up the wall he could not believe it: A man discovered about 30 bottles of old, old liquor – dating back to 1917.

The bottles are still in perfect condition, remember: Liquor does not age once it’s bottled. And why did a person hide alcohol in the 20s? Probibition.

Some John Walker whisky bottles, Dewar’s … and Hennessy Cognac! What a great discovery. What do we learn out of this? People of the US: Search for old XO bottles in your walls. There might be one in your house.

The bottles went straight to a Museum in Minneapolis, a curator is about to find out who owned the house and how the stash was put in the wall.

I think those bottles belong to me. I hid them when I lived in that house 100 years ago.
